Carbon reduction is a possibility in a variety of markets, and polymers are a novel attribute as a formulation criterion. Ubiquitous additives as formulation partners stand for negative carbon emissions, hence supporting carbon reduction in a variety of applications. During the presentation we will describe the approach for the development of polymer formulations based on examples successfully introduced to applications in challenging automotive, construction, and rigid packaging parts. The various additive grades, with their special features and formulation options, are discussed in view of their application-specific requirements.
