Michael Weigelt

Michael Weigelt has been spokesperson for the management board of GKV/TecPart since 2010 and is a member of the GKV management board. His main areas of focus include supplier issues at national and European level, Industry 4.0 and additive manufacturing, and statistical analysis of the industry.

On his initiative, the TecPart guideline “Molded part development and toolmaking, principles of design and tolerancing” was incorporated into DIN 16742.

Mr. Weigelt is also the initiator and co-author of the GKV benchmark study “Plastics Processing Industry” from 2013.
